Law is complex.  Even experts differ in interpretation, higher courts routinely overturn lower‑court decisions and advocates argue opposite positions every day.  How then can a common person or even a business man truly understand the law and comply with it? Yet ignorance of the law is no excuse.  The contradiction is obvious.

If the law were simple, why would there be endless debate and divergent opinions?  Through this website, we aim to demystify legal concepts and present them in simple, accessible language.  Though created with India in mind, many ideas have universal relevance.  Sometimes we discuss law, sometimes the underlying concepts and at times even the philosophy behind them.
